Queen Elizabeth II 75th Birthday Box LE
Special serpentine-shaped enamel, used for the first time with this 75th birthday celebration box for Queen Elizabeth II. Flowers of the United Kingdom - rose, thistle, shamrock, and daffodils decorated the lid and sides. Drawings by Pamela Dowson. Limited edition of 750. 2 3/8" across hinged box. Halcyon Days Enamels started the revival of the 18th century enamel box (popular then for beauty patches, snuff, and breath mints) in 1970.
